Over 100 female-identifying artists from around the world were invited to Cuidad de Mexico, Mexico and given the opportunity to paint murals throughout the city.

Taking place in May of 2025, our piece was created in response to the aggressive, and inhumane attitude that has developed to immigrant communities following the 2024 election. Culture is something to be celebrated. Diversity gives a richness to our culture, and America is supposed to be the land of opportunity for all. We were honored to have a festival allow us to create art that doesn’t shy away from starting a conversation. That is, in fact, one of the most important roles art has in this world.
